Description

My homemade pita chips are great for dipping your favorite dip. Pita chips with chopped veggies and hummus can be a great snack to munch on throughout the day. I hope you enjoy this easy method to making your own pita chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 pack of pita bread (6 pitas)
  • 1/4 olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cumin
  • 1/4 salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 395 F.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt and spices. Brush oil mixture on each pita. Then stack 3 of the pitas on top of each other, and cut into eighths. Repeat for the other 3 pitas.
  3. Place oiled pita triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread it out so it has enough room to bake. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly browned a crispy.
  4. Once baked, take out of the oven and let it cool for 3-5 minutes. Then serve with dip.
